Ballet Zaida is the photography by former ballet dancer, Oliver Endahl.

With over a decade in dance experience himself, Oliver knows the proper technique, aesthetics and also the daily ins and outs of the life of a ballet dancer.

Oliver was an early adaptor to Instagram and was the first dance photographer on the network.

The world of ballet is extremely unique, and having first hand experience in what dancers go through has helped craft and guide the project and his photography over the years.

His Instagram account Ballet Zaida, catalyzed the dance photography movement on social media & has helped democratize the dance industry.

Now a decade into Ballet Zaida, Oliver has become an icon in the dance world and the project continually creates the standard, and aesthetic, for the world of ballet on the internet.

Through the popularity of his instagram account Ballet Zaida, Oliver has been hired and worked with some of the biggest dance brands including Discount Dance, Russian Pointe and Eleve Dancewear.

He has also been hired to bring dance photography into commercial advertising. He has photographed and created ads for a variety of companies including Etsy, Free People, Jamba Juice, and more.

The purpose of Ballet Zaida is to expose the world to ballet, and to evolve the art of ballet itself.

The Business Manager:

Nicole Voris

Oliver and Nicole met while training in the San Francisco Ballet School in 2007.

They got married in 2014.

Nicole simultaneously maintained a career as a professional ballet dancer, dancing for a variety of top companies in America, while also running her and her husband’s business Zaida Photography Inc.

She graduated from California State University, Los Angeles with a Master of Science in Accounting.

Nicole joined her Mother’s CPA firm, Voris CPA, as a full time member in 2021.

Nicole specializes in financial and tax planning for dancers and artists of all specialities. She is happy to help you grow your business and plan for the future in alignment with your professional and personal goals.

The Assistant:

Marty McFly

Marty is an essential part of the Ballet Zaida team.

Marty is a very helpful assistant and often leads solo stretch classes while Oliver edits photos and Nicole does taxes.

He also helps with vital tasks like making sure the tutus are safe and secure.
