Alanna Christina grew up surrounded in a world of the Fine & Healing Arts. She began her formal ballet training at the San Francisco Ballet School where she trained for a decade before moving on to train with City Ballet School of San Francisco, Boston Ballet School, & Ballet Austin becoming versatile in many different styles of ballet.
Through her up bringing she was exposed & learned about the Healing Arts, Holistic Health, & Naturopathic Medicine. Dealing with injury & having a large understanding of how the body works mechanically & energetically, mixed with her love for movement, she became a Certified Yoga Teacher at the Southwest Institute of Healing Arts in Arizona.
Alanna Christina loves teaching Yoga to all levels, her classes combine her knowledge of the physical & energetic body, a focus on body alignment, breath work, the Chakra system, & relaxation.
Her other areas of creativity include Health Foods & Raw Foods, Modeling, Stylist, Social Media & Creative Consultant.
Alanna Christina is a Registered Yoga Teacher with The Yoga Alliance.
Alanna became a Ballet Zaida Affinity in the Summer of 2013.
Born in Winter Park, Florida, Sasha De Sola trained at the Kirov Academy of Ballet in Washington, D.C. on full merit scholarship where she studied under the guidance of Ludmila Morkovina and Anatoli Kucheruk. In 2004 Ms. De Sola received a scholarship for studies at the Paris Opera Ballet School.
At the age of 17, Ms. De Sola joined San Francisco Ballet where she quickly rose through the ranks and was promoted to the rank of soloist in 2012.
Ms. De Sola has danced many principal roles with San Francisco Ballet including George Balanchine’s Divertimento No. 15, Tarantella, Brahms-Schoenberg Quartet, Agon, and Symphony in Three Movements; Alexei Ratmansky’s Chamber Symphony and From Foreign Lands; Serge Lifar’s Suite en Blanc; Jerome Robbins’s In the Night; Helgi Tomasson’s Trio; Christopher Wheeldon’s Number Nine; William Forsythe’s The Vertiginous Thrill of Exactitude, and Wayne McGregor’s Borderlands.
She has originated featured roles in Christopher Wheeldon’s Cinderella; Helgi Tomasson’s Trio; Val Caniparoli’s Tears; Liam Scarlett’s Hummingbird and Yuri Possokhov’s Rite of Spring. Her repertory also includes Queen of the Driads in Helgi Tomasson’s Don Quixote; Princess in Yuri Possokhov’s Firebird, the Grand Pas de Deux in Tomasson’s The Nutcracker; featured roles in Rudolf Nureyev’s Raymonda Act III; Helgi Tomasson’s Giselle; Natalia Makarova’s La Bayadere, Val Caniparoli’s Ibsen’s House, Possokhov’s Classical Symphony, Edwaard Liang’s Symphonic Dances, and William Forsythe’s Artifact Suite.
Ms. De Sola has appeared as a guest artist in several galas around the world and was also awarded the Bronze Medal at the Youth America Grand Prix (2004) the Best Junior Couple prize at USA International Ballet Competition in Jackson, Mississippi (2006); the Silver Medal at World Ballet Competition (2008); and the Bronze Medal at Varna International Ballet Competition (2006).
Sasha became a Ballet Zaida Affinity in the spring of 2014.
Stephen Jacobsen is an experienced performer with classical training in dance, drama, and voice, with a specialty in classical ballet. He currently resides in Los Angeles, California, where he develops many upcoming projects including performances, commercials, films, and novels.
Stephen Jacobsen is the youngest in a family of five from the San Bernardino Mountains of Southern California. He began his ballet training at the age of five, branching out into other forms of performing arts during his adolescence. At the age of sixteen, he moved to San Francisco, after receiving a full scholarship into the distinguished San Francisco Ballet School, where he trained for three years. After training, Stephen worked professionally as a ballet dancer, working for many prestigious ballet companies and operas around the United States. He now lives in Los Angeles.
Stephen became a Ballet Zaida Affinity in the spring of 2015.
Jeanette Kakareka began dancing at The Rock Schoolin Philadelphia, at the age of twelve.
She competed in the Youth American Grand Prix for four years, making the New York City finals for three. She was also selected to participate in the 2010 International Ballet Competition in Jackson, MI. Jeanette participated in a summer intensive at the Pacific Northwest Ballet School, and two at the San Francisco Ballet School before attending their year round program in their top level. At the end of the year, she was chosen by Helgi Tómasson and Patrick Armand to be a part of the Trainee Program for two years.
During the three years she was inThe San Francisco Ballet School she performed corps de ballet and character roles with The San Francisco Ballet, as well as dancing in trainee and school shows. She is now an artist with The English National Ballet.
Jeanette became a Ballet Zaida Affinity in December of 2013.
Morgan Quinn was born and raised in Woodland Hills, California.
She grew up surrounded by dance. Her early training included dancing in her mother, Wendy Quinn’s studio, which exposed her to a multitude of styles.
Every summer since she was twelve, Morgan attended ballet intensives. Including Boston Ballet, American Ballet Theatre, The Rock School, Miami City Ballet, & the San Francisco Ballet. Most of which she was awarded full scholarships.
One of Morgan’s personal favorite performances has been Harald Lander’s Etudes.
Morgan is currently signed with Bloc, & has performed on The Today Show, The View, Jimmy Kimmel, and Ellen.
Morgan became a Ballet Zaida Affinity in March of 2014.
Nicole Voris started taking dance lessons at Renee Antoinette's School of Dance. When she was ten she moved to Dance Theater of the Southwest and started performing with New Mexico Ballet Company.
At sixteen she attended San Francisco Ballet School's summer session and was invited to stay in the year round program on merit scholarship. During her three years there she had the privilege to perform with the company, as well as be a part of the 2009 tour to China.
Nicole danced in the Cincinnati Ballet II program for the 2010-2011 season under Victoria Morgan.
Nicole was an Apprentice with Ballet Austin from 2011-2014. She performed many works by Ballet Austin's artistic director Stephen Mills. She had original roles made on her by Jennifer Hart and Nelly van Bommel.
She is featured in many Ballet Zaida photos and films Nesoi and Rem. She was one of the models in the Free People Movement and Ballet Zaida collaboration.
She performed in the inaugural performance of Jennifer Hart's company Performa/dance. The night won two Austin Critics Table Awards. One for the quartet Nicole was in, On Truth and Love, and another for the evening as a whole.
Nicole has made two short films with film maker Jonathan Pears of Back to Awake for the Forgotten Steps project.
She is available for guestings, photoshoots, and to teach in the Los Angeles area and beyond.
She became a Ballet Zaida Affinity in the summer of 2013.
